Melissa – thanks for letting us know about those bars. I thought the SB’s only had KIND bars which are always in my car so I’m not paying SB for one. What a shame that SB missed the mark with the cake t hey chose to offer, but eventually they might figure out something great they can market to all guests. That is the only feasible for them to offer a pastry which is what many us prefer to have over any bar. We don’t go to SB anymore, due to the cake fiasco and how the company handled it.

The did discontinue it…we were in Europe for 4 months, mostly London, and EVERY Starbucks had 2 gluten free items – a delicious double fudge cake – which really was like a brownie, and the orange cake. They often had marshmallows dipped in chocolate too. I don’t know why they would discontinue it here – I live in a small town and I personally know 5 families with gluten free kids just here…we all loved those things.
