The wheat lobby lost out when the law changed regarding wheat being declared on food labels but the barley growers are putting up a good fight. They have a vested interest in barley not having to be listed as an ingredient on labels. It's really embarrassing that the U.S. is behind so many other countries on this and other food issues.
