It makes sense that the grilled chicken should have been gluten free KFC managment has a job in front of them if they want to last because a gluten free diet is getting more popular every day not gust for Celiacs but for people with wheat allergies, people with insomnia and people to cut out any carbs for an alternation healthy carb.
Good luck to the managment if they can last with out offering gluten free chicken because it is none that in a few more years 1 in 90 people will have celiac and 1 out of 5 will like to remain on a gluten free diet for medicinal benifits in their health and other reasons reasons, come on taco bell and KFC jump on board already will Ya!

Why or why can't they even try going gluten free, replace their breadcrumbs with gluten free, and their flour with gluten free, and hey presto a gluten free kfc, its the spices that make the taste so i doubt it will change it, and in my experiance, gluten free breadcrumbs tend to be crispier too!
