I stayed at the Crown Plaza downtown Kansas City and ate at their restaurant, the City Grill. Chef Sam Cross was very familiar with preparing gluten free foods and I had a fantastic experience. He even came out to the table to talk about options and the food was superb. Lisa was my server. I highly recommend it.

I've been impressed with the gfree savvy of Succotash on Holmes. They have plenty of gluten-free options, and know how to turn almost any sandwich into a gorgeous gluten-free option. I like their BLT-with-a-fried-egg sandwich served on a bed of arugula--a trick I learned from them. They also have great gf cookies some days. They are very conscientious about cooking gluten-free items separate from potential contaminants upon request.

Great list Kyle! One place not mentioned is Godfather's Pizza: only selected locations have GF pizza. I had a great experience there. I am from KC and have been to almost all on the list, and not had a bad experience. I frequently do reviews for the places I try: http://switch2glutenfree.com/category/gluten-free-businesses/
