If you are looking for a nice restaurant with a gluten free menu in the Chicago area, or are going to be around the O’Hare airport, there is restaurant called Da Lucianos in River Grove which offers an impressive gluten free menu. Based upon a few reviews I’ve found scattered throughout the internet, this seems to be a popular place for gluten free restaurant goers.

This restaurant is very good. The owners are from Tuscany and have 3 children with Celiac, so they are very well versed in how to create a safe and delicious meal. It doesn’t look like much from the outside and it is a bit of a drive from the city BUT it is so worth it to have a wonderful gluten free meal. And they offer several items that you can purchase frozen so you can cook them at home.
I’ve been to this restaurant many times…it is SO good! It’s a wonderful quaint little restaurant (probably only ten tables!) but it is worth the wait, and the experience is awesome. They specialize in the GF food because Celiac runs in their family.
